Yes. The applicants passport must be signed when applying for a Russia visa. The signature on the application must match the signature on the passport.
I heard the Russia Consulate in San Francisco is closed. Can you still process my visa?
Yes. While the Russia Consulate is closed in San Francisco, applications may still be submitted through Peninsula Visa. All visas are now being processed through the Embassy in Washington D.C.
How far in advance can I apply for a Russia visa?
The furthest in advance you can apply is 45 days from your date of departure.
Is a Russia visa valid in an expired passport?
No. A new visa must be obtained.
